csrnet@ Year 73 BC, Spartacus the Thracian was fighting Romans when he was
captured slave. During the training as gladiator, he secretly united a
large company of gladiator slaves. With blood, Spartacus swore to take
their freedom back. Now with Spartacus, Caesar and Senatus fighting with
each other, which side shall the fate smile at? Who will change the
course of history?
First off, you need to choose your side,
that's it, what kind of Roman Empire you expect to rise: one ruled by
Caesar, Senatus or Spartacus. Depending on what you choose, the
resources and means to reach the power will be different, so the way
you'll have to manage your empire. However, in all of them you'll have
to build houses and facilities, collect wood, barrels, stone and coins.
Likewise, you will have to trade to improve your resources and fight to
conquer other cities and get honors. Make alliances and chat with its
members. Explore the World, find where the resources are at and which
will be the next target. Become a real Emperor.
Graphically the
game is simple, too simple. It could certainly improved in this regard.
In addition, the controls aren't as intuitive as they should be: too
many small icons which make difficult to tap on them. What's more, it's a
bit difficult to get the hang of it since the amount of features, items
and units. We encourage the developer to focus on this issues because
the gameplay is great. Recommendable although it needs to improve still
further.
